• Drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 2nd round of the 2006 MLB June Amateur Draft from Joliet Catholic Academy (Joliet, IL).

• Entering 13th season of professional baseball, and his third in the Atlantic League

• Made MLB debut with the Minnesota Twins in 2011 held a .239 batting average

• Was a September call-up with the Twins, played in 21 games in 23 days

• Collected 17 MLB hits including one four hit game
