Isaac Mattson is a 27-year-old right-hander from Harbor Creek, Pennsylvania. The Los Angeles Angels drafted the hurler in 2017 and was named an organizational all-star in 2019 after he spent time at three different levels and had a 2.33 ERA. Last year, with the Washington Wild Things, he appeared in 12 games and posted a 2.40 ERA; he set down 23 hitters in 15.0 innings.
Joining the pitching staff with Mattson is 26-year-old left-hander Jacques Pucheu. Pucheu once led the state of Mississippi in strikeouts as a senior; he then set a new mark for strikeouts in a season at Austin Peay. The southpaw has spent the last three seasons with the Cincinnati Reds and was a 2022 spring training invitee a year after he had made it to Triple-A. Last year, Pucheu struck out 42 hitters in 39.0 innings logged in four different levels with the Red legs.
KC Hobson is a 32-year-old slugger picked right out of high school to the Toronto Blue Jays in 2009; he was with the Jays until 2016; after leaving the Jays, Hobson signed with the Lancaster Barnstormers. The thumper has also been in the San Francisco Giants system and played under his father in Chicago with the Dogs of the American Association. During the 2022 campaign, Hobson hit 15 home runs, 27 doubles, and collected 62 RBIs
