Previous Career:
• Drafted by the Montreal Expos in the eighth round of the 2003 MLB June Amateur Draft
• Traded to the Cincinnati Reds in 2006 and excelled in the minors
• Went 14-5 in the Reds system in 2007, posted a 5-0 record the following season with AAA Louisville before getting promoted to the major leagues
• Made his MLB with the Cincinnati Reds in 2008, tossed five scoreless innings against the Yankees
• Top eight in Atlantic League history in strikeouts, wins, and innings pitched
