Highlights: Warden will enter his sixth season as a member of the Crabs. Through his first five seasons with the club, the 6’7” closer has compiled 117 saves in in 256.0 innings and an ERA of 2.92. His 117 saves ranks him second all-time in the Atlantic League just behind Mike Guilfoyle of Bridgeport who tallied 122 saves for Bridgeport from 1998-2003.

Last season, Warden had arguably his finest year as a member of Crustacean Nation. He finished 2013 with career highs in saves (35) and games (61). The 2013 Atlantic League All-Star and Post-Season First Team Award Winner totaled a 3-4 record with a 1.50 ERA and 49 strikeouts.

Originally selected in the 6th round of the 2001 MLB Draft by the Cleveland Indians, the Tennessee native spent nine seasons across the Indians, Washington Nationals, and New York Mets organizations. He reached as high as Triple-A three times in his career (2007, 2008, 2009).
